Kiana serves as our Front Desk Coordinator, a role that requires meticulous attention to detail, particularly with insurance verification and referrals. Her efforts form the crucial first step that enables our billing team to submit accurate data to insurance companies, ensuring a smooth and efficient billing process.
As the first point of contact for our office, Kiana’s friendly smile, kindness, and calm demeanor are greatly appreciated by both patients and staff. She expertly balances a variety of responsibilities, from answering phones to checking patients in and out, all while maintaining a sharp focus on insurance details—making it all seem effortless.
Kiana is full of innovative ideas to enhance the patient experience, and many of her suggestions have led to positive changes in our practice. For instance, she introduced an automatic reply system for new patient intake forms, ensuring patients receive confirmation that their inquiries have been received and will be addressed promptly. Most recently, Kiana implemented a HIPAA-compliant texting system, allowing her to conveniently schedule callbacks with patients, significantly reducing frustrating rounds of phone tag.
Dedicated to her personal and professional growth, Kiana is always on the lookout for opportunities to build her skills. She loves challenging herself and has future aspirations to expand her knowledge of billing processes and pursue further college education.
Kiana lives with her boyfriend and their adorable dog, Zen, who is a frequent visitor to the office. Zen’s visits bring joy to everyone, and we wish he could stay all day! In her free time, Kiana enjoys spending quality time with family, traveling, dining out, and taking long walks.
