Lauren

Lauren supports the practice from the comfort of her home where she lives in South Carolina. She is one of two staff working remotely, scheduling all new patient visits, filling prescription refills and responding to portal communications.

She has a bachelors in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University, a Minor in Child and Adolescent Development, and is also a Certified Medical Assistant. 

​

She has worked 14+ years in the medical field; 5 years as a Patient Care Assistant at Sturdy Memorial Hospital, and 5 years as a Lead Medical Assistant in a dermatology practice supporting general medical and pediatric providers. She has worked for a multi-state dermatology practice focused on patient phone calls, prescription refills, referrals and prior authorizations and as a medical transcriber for dermatologists.

Lauren is married and has two beautiful young children. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys reading, cooking, working in the yard and DIY projects.
